My girlfriend and I like different things. She likes sports and I hate sports. The only sports that I like are the ones I can watch on television. But my girlfriend is always doing sports. She plays tennis, she’s in a basketball team and she gets up at 6 o’clock on Saturday morning to go running with friends. She tries to get me to do sports with her. She tells me I am overweight and unhealthy. I tell her I don’t smoke. Then yesterday I wanted to go to take the bus to town. When I turned the corner I saw the bus was just leaving the bus stop. I started to run after it but I was not fast enough. I had to wait 45 minutes for the next bus. But the old man who was walking beside me also wanted to get the bus so he also ran when he saw the bus. He managed to catch the bus. Tomorrow I am going to play tennis with my girlfriend. Perhaps I will soon be as fast as that old man.
